Valerie Aurora is a systems software consultant with 25 years of experience in operating systems (Linux/UNIX/Darwin), file systems, networking, and systems software. Valerie wrote significant parts of the CRA standards for network interfaces, VPNs, and operating systems. She worked closely with other CRA experts, the European Commission, and European standards bodies to translate the legal text of the CRA into a novel type of standard with practical testable requirements. She has written code for and/or debugged multiple file systems, the Linux kernel, TCP/IP internals, VPN services, bootloaders, device drivers, interrupt controllers, and silly games.
